About Us

Jia Ying Community Services Society

Jia Ying Community Services Society (JYCSS), which was founded by Glad Tidings Church in June 2001, became a non-profit organisation dedicated to community service. By 2003, it had obtained charity status and full membership in the National Council of Social Services with IPC status. JYCSS is dedicated to improving the lives of seniors, by preventing social isolation, promoting cognitive and physical exercise through a variety of programs, and cultivate a culture of volunteerism
and lifelong learning.

In a world that is constantly changing, it is crucial to take a moment to reflect on the immense value our senior community brings to our lives.

We must do our part to honour them, not just for the years they have lived but for the wisdom, love, and guidance they offer. It’s essential to help them heal, whether physically or emotionally, by offering our support, understanding, and time. Whether through small acts of kindness, creating an environment of peace, or simply listening to their stories, we can make a difference in their lives.
